So, now that this market has been opened up, I'm pretty I need to exploit it. Perhaps I'll focus on Dickens.

I'm thinking Madame Bovary meets Faust, with a touch of Voodoo cult in there. Something like she made a deal with the devil when she was young to be taken away from "all this", only to get bored with it, spend all the money, try to push away the devil, but...he always comes back for what is him, and she just keeps spending and thinking herself free, but the devil collects his due...
I'm sold.
